Pesawat Jepang Sukses Mendarat Lagi di Asteroid

Lembaga antariksa Jepang berhasil mendaratkan pesawat ruang angkasa pada asteroid Ryugu untuk kedua kalinya sebagai bagian dari misi untuk mengungkap asal usul tata surya.

Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA) melaporkan kabar tersebut melalui media sosial mereka pada Rabu pagi waktu setempat.

“Keadaan pesawat ruang angkasa (Hayabusa 2) normal dan urutan pendaratan dilakukan sesuai jadwal. Manajer Proyek Tsuda telah menyatakan bahwa pendaratan ke-2 berhasil,” tulis mereka pada Twitter resminya.

Setelah berhasil mendarat di asteroid, Hayabusa 2 direncanakan mengambil beberapa sampel bagian dalam permukaan asteroid yang mana diharapkan bisa membawa kabar terang mengenai evolusi tata surya.

Tentu saja ini sebuah pencapaian luar biasa. Ryugu sendiri hanya memiliki luas di bawah 3.000 kaki atau 914 meter dan mengorbit puluhan juta mil dari Bumi. JAXA mengatakan jika operasil berhasil akan jadi pertama kalinya wahana antariksa membawa sampel dari permukaann asteoid.

Pesawat ruang angkasa ini pertama kali tiba di asteroid pada Juni 2018 dan mendarat bulan Februari lalu. Pada bulan April, dilakukan ledakan kecil pada di permukaan untuk mengumpulkan sampel penelitian.

Hayabusa 2 akan meninggalkan Ryugu bulan Desember 2019 dan kembali ke Bumi akhir tahun 2020 dengan muatan sampel untuk dianalisis. Bila berhasil kembali ke Bumi sesuai jadwal, hal ini akan menjadi misi pertama yang membawa kembali sampel dari asteroid kelas C, yang belum pernah dikunjungi sebelumnya.

Can’t think how to get started? Just write the first thing that pops into your head. Anne Lamott, author of a book on writing we love, says that you need to give yourself permission to write a “crappy first draft”. Anne makes a great point — just start writing, and worry about editing it later.

When you’re ready to publish, give your post three to five tags that describe your blog’s focus — writing, photography, fiction, parenting, food, cars, movies, sports, whatever. These tags will help others who care about your topics find you in the Reader. Make sure one of the tags is “zerotohero,” so other new bloggers can find you, too.
